World Endangered Species Day: Support the Pangolin 1 year 8 months ago #7

Today is World Endangered Species Day and exactly one year since we launched Eye of the Pangolin, a ground-breaking film by Bruce Young and Johan Vermeulen, with generous support from WildAid, The Marchig Animal Welfare Trust, Foundation Marchig, Tanglewood Foundation, Biggestleaf Travel and Pangolin Photo Safaris.

365 days, 287 000 YouTube views, 5 foreign language translations, 8 airline inflight screening commitments and dozens of physical and virtual hosted film screenings later - and we’re not done yet!

Thank YOU for helping us achieve this success.

Never has there been a more relevant time for the world to know about pangolins and their fight for survival. Please share the film link with a friend, neighbour, colleague, or family member today and help us reach our goal of making Eye of the Pangolin the most-watched wildlife documentary ever.

In celebration of the film’s first anniversary, we’re giving away an exquisite, Stirling silver pangolin pendant & chain worth ZAR1,300 (USD70), sponsored by Cape Town artist and sculptor Chris Bladen. The competition is running on our Facebook and Instagram platforms and you can read more about it on our website.

A conversation on wildlife conservation and travel

Welcome to Conservation Mag where we celebrate nature through ecotourism and wildlife travel while we look for ways to preserve our heritage by supporting nature conservation. Starting conversations about the positive action people like you and I are taking to make a change, we discover and discuss strategies that result in the expansion of natural areas.
