About us
Our Mission: At ConservationMag, we are dedicated to championing biodiversity and the vital role nature plays in our collective future. Our mission is to amplify the voices of the natural world, providing a bridge between scientific research and public engagement. We explore the intersection of wildlife conservation, ethical photography, and nature-based travel.
Our Origins: Founded in 2019 by Dr Adriaan Buys, PhD, an environmental scientist and researcher, the magazine was born from a desire to inspire action through knowledge. We aim to keep you informed with the latest nature updates while discovering how we can enjoy and preserve our planet for future generations.

Where Science Meets Storytelling
What makes ConservationMag unique is our commitment to source-based storytelling. We move beyond generic news to bring you insights directly from the field, written by conservation biologists, published academics, and expert wildlife photographers.
A Platform for Change: We have built a dedicated global community around the protection of biodiversity. ConservationMag bridges the gap between complex environmental science and public action, encouraging our readers to rethink their impact while celebrating the joy of the outdoors.
Our Philosophy: We believe that accurate information is the first step toward conservation. In an era of noise, we offer a trusted space to delve into the minds of wildlife experts and discover practical, evidence-based ways to protect our planet for future generations.
